On Friday, 12 July 2013, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on Ašigalio street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Nissan Tiida and an Audi A6 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 61-year-old driver of the Nissan (37 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
