On Sunday, 14 July 2013, in the afternoon at 11:25, in Alytaus district municipality, Zizėnų village, on Dzūkų street near No. 27, an Opel Astra hit an obstacle. One person was injured — a 44-year-old passenger of the Opel (treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.08‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
