On Saturday, 13 July 2013, in the evening at 21:25, in Kauno district municipality, Šlienavos village, on Nemuno street near No. 15, a Ford Escort ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Ford (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. She was drunk (3.77‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
