On Saturday, 20 July 2013, in the evening at around 19:00, in Molėtų district municipality, Giedraičių town, on Vilniaus street near No. 60, a BMW 525 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the BMW (6 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.33‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
