On Wednesday, 31 July 2013, in the afternoon at 12:38, in Tauragės district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 207), a Mitsubishi Lancer rolled over. One person was injured — a 6-year-old passenger of the Mitsubishi (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 78-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (30 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
