On Tuesday, 6 August 2013, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on K. Petrausko street, at the junction with M. Jankaus street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and a BMW 530. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (1 year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
