On Saturday, 10 August 2013, in the evening at 21:53, in Šiaulių district municipality, on V. Kudirkos street near No. 33, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Zafira - A and a Citroen C3. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Opel (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
