On Monday, 12 August 2013, in the morning at around 7:00, in Kaunas, on Aušros street near No. 42A, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a GAZ 3309 and an Opel Astra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the GAZ (34 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
