On Friday, 23 August 2013, at night at 23:30, in Kaunas, on T. Masiulio street, at the junction with Marijampolės pl street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 318d and a Toyota Avensis. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.94‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
