On Sunday, 25 August 2013, in the evening at 22:54, in Plungės district municipality, on V. Mačernio street near No. 12, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat, an Audi 80, a Renault Megane Scenic, an Audi 100 and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Passat, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. All drivers were sober.
