On Thursday, 29 August 2013, at night at 1:25, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Šėta–Okainiai–Truskava regional road (kilometre 3.50), an Opel Tigra ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Opel, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.14‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, there was fog, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
