On Thursday, 5 September 2013, at night at 23:26, in Mažeikių district municipality, on Skuodo street, at the junction with Ašvos street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Delta and a Peugeot 307. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Delta, who violated lighting-device usage rules. He was drunk (2.41‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
