On Friday, 13 September 2013, in the evening at 20:22, in Panevėžys, on Kniaudiškių street near No. 67, a Honda CR-V hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 4-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Honda (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations, failed to fulfil pedestrian duties and failed to choose a safe speed.
