On Sunday, 15 September 2013, in the evening at 17:40, in Kupiškio district municipality, on Vytauto street, a Volkswagen Passat ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (9 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.80‰ blood alcohol).
