On Saturday, 7 September 2013, in the evening at 22:20, in Kretingos district municipality, Jakštaičių village, on the local road, a Mazda 323 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Mazda (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
