On Saturday, 21 September 2013, at night at around 2:00, in Jurbarko district municipality, Tamošių village, on the Veliuona–Tamošiai–Griciai regional road (kilometre 13.10), an Opel Vectra ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Opel (5 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
