On Sunday, 29 September 2013, in the evening at 19:30, in Kauno district municipality, on the Dūkštas–Rimšė–Pūškos–Meikštai–Kačergiškė regional road (kilometre 17.91), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a BMW 325 and an Audi A6. Two people were injured — the 52-year-old driver of the Audi (treated as an outpatient) and a 41-year-old passenger of the Audi (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the BMW (5 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed and entered the oncoming traffic lane. Both drivers were sober.
