On Friday, 4 October 2013, in the evening at 19:26, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6, an Opel Zafira and an Audi A6. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Audi A6 (6 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations, failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
