Drunk, unlicensed driver's Volkswagen Golf rolls over in Sterkiškio village
On Sunday, 6 October 2013, in the morning at 5:06, in Anykščių district municipality, Sterkiškio village, on the Leliūnai–Debeikiai–Trumbatiškis regional road (kilometre 2.38), a Volkswagen Golf rolled over. One person died — an 30-year-old other. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.24‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
