On Thursday, 17 October 2013, in the afternoon at 13:30, in Anykščių district municipality, on Budrių street near No. 1, at the junction with Savanorių street, a collision with one vehicle turning left and the other right occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 405 and an Audi 80. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Peugeot (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.92‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
