On Thursday, 24 October 2013, at night at 2:49, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 30), a Mercedes-Benz Actros 1844 LS ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
