Drunk Volkswagen driver and BMW crash at Vasario 16-osios and Tulpių streets, Panevėžys
On Saturday, 9 November 2013, in the evening at around 19:00, in Panevėžys, on Vasario 16-osios street, at the junction with Tulpių street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and a BMW 730 d. One person was injured — a 35-year-old passenger of the BMW (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (3 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.93‰ blood alcohol).
