On Saturday, 9 November 2013, at night at 23:15, in Kaunas, on Jurbarko street, at the junction with Šauklių street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 406 and a BMW 530 D. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
