On Wednesday, 13 November 2013, in the morning at around 6:00, in Kaunas, on A. Mackevičiaus street near No. 122, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Chevrolet Camaro and a BMW 318. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Chevrolet (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
