On Sunday, 17 November 2013, in the afternoon at 16:30, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Antakalnis–Jieznas–Alytus–Merkinė national road (kilometre 20.25), a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a BMW 525 and a Dodge Nitro. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the BMW (31 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
