On Wednesday, 20 November 2013, in the evening at 17:25, in Kaunas, on Europos pr., at the junction with Ž. E. Žilibero street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Iveco 35S13, a BMW 530 and a Volkswagen Touran. One person was injured — the 36-year-old driver of the BMW (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the Iveco (31 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 60 km/h.
