On Friday, 22 November 2013, at night at 2:20, in Vilkaviškio district municipality, Alvito village, on the Marijampolė–Kybartai–Kaliningradas main road (kilometre 27.08), a Scania P380 CB registered in Russia ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Scania (a citizen of Russia) (14 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed.
