On Friday, 22 November 2013, in the evening at around 18:00, in Pagėgių municipality, Vilkyškių town, on P.Lukošaičio street, at the junction with Pieninės street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a MAN TGA 18.400, a Schmitz SKO 24/L, a Renault HD 320.26 and a Koegel AWE 18. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 68-year-old driver of the MAN (39 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, there was freezing rain, there was fog, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
