On Sunday, 24 November 2013, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kauno district municipality, Noreikiškių village, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) main road (kilometre 6), a Toyota Yaris hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Toyota (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident there was fog, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 80 km/h.
