Mitsubishi hits a pedestrian at a crossing at Cintjoniškių and Gluosnių streets, Šilutė
On Wednesday, 27 November 2013, in the evening at 18:06, in Šilutės district municipality, on Cintjoniškių street, at the junction with Gluosnių street, a Mitsubishi Space Star hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 55-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (12 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
