On Sunday, 6 October 2013, in the evening at around 21:00, in Rokiškio district municipality, on Taikos street, at the junction with Perkūno street, an Audi A6 Avant hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Audi (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
