On Wednesday, 11 December 2013, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Rokiškio district municipality, on the Laibgaliai–Kriaunos–Juozapava regional road (kilometre 10.25), a Volkswagen Jetta rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.66‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
