On Sunday, 22 December 2013, in the evening at 21:05, in Klaipėda, on Šilutės pl. near No. 10, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Citroen Xantia and an Opel Insignia Limousine NB. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Citroen, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (3.28‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
