On Friday, 10 January 2014, in the afternoon at 15:53, in Šiauliai, on Vilniaus street, at the junction with M. Valančiaus street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Ford Galaxy and a Mazda RX-8. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Ford (22 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction and failed to keep a safe distance.
