On Thursday, 23 January 2014, in the afternoon at 15:41, in Šiauliai, on Tilžės street near No. 13, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Renault and an Opel Astra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 58-year-old driver of the Renault (40 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
