On Friday, 24 January 2014, in the evening at 17:22, in Kauno district municipality, Rokų village, on the Rokai–Girininkai–Purvininkai regional road (kilometre 3.50), a Peugeot 306 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Peugeot (19 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.52‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
