On Saturday, 25 January 2014, in the evening at 18:39, in Marijampolės municipality, Kūlokų village, a Peugeot 406 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Peugeot (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.49‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
