On Saturday, 1 February 2014, in the afternoon at 11:15, in Kaunas, on Technikos street near No. 11, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Ford Galaxy and a Citroen C5. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Ford (22 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.85‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
