On Friday, 7 February 2014, in the afternoon at 14:34, in Šiauliai, on Lieporių street near No. 19, a head-on collision while overtaking occurred. The collision involved a Citroen Xsara and a Mercedes-Benz 308. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Citroen (less than a year of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane.
