On Saturday, 8 February 2014, at night at around 4:00, in Šiauliai, on Lyros street near No. 12, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Zafira and a Honda Civic. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet.
