On Monday, 10 February 2014, in the evening at 17:22, in Vilnius, on Laisvės pr., at the junction with Tūkstantmečio street, on a bridge, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a DAF FT XF105, an Audi A4, a Schrader Z-STA 24-38/4 and a Fiat Ducato. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the DAF (26 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. All drivers were sober. The 36-year-old driver of the Audi had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was snowing, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 80 km/h.
