On Saturday, 15 February 2014, in the evening at around 20:00, in Visagino municipality, on Jaunystės street near No. 13, in a yard, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and an Audi A6. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (a citizen of Ukraine) (10 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
