On Saturday, 22 February 2014, at night at around 23:00, in Pasvalio district municipality, Vaškų town, on Stoties street near No. 2, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Land Rover Discovery and a Volvo V70. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Land Rover, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
