On Sunday, 23 February 2014, in the evening at 19:16, in Vilnius, on Geležinio Vilko street near No. 6, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Rover 620 and an Audi 100. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Rover (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction and failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
