On Monday, 24 February 2014, at night at 23:45, in Biržų district municipality, on the Rinkuškiai–Juostaviečiai–Nemunėlio Radviliškis regional road (kilometre 11.30), an Opel Vectra-B-Caravan ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Opel (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. She was drunk (1.09‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
