On Sunday, 9 March 2014, in the evening at 20:12, in Ukmergės district municipality, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 98), a MTZ rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the MTZ, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.23‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. A 46-year-old passenger of the MTZ was drunk. A 28-year-old passenger of the MTZ was drunk. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
