On Monday, 17 March 2014, in the evening at 20:20, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, Gegužinės village, on the Jonava–Žasliai–Kalniniai Mijaugonys national road (kilometre 26.30), a BMW 525 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the BMW (29 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene.
