On Thursday, 27 March 2014, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Klaipėda, on Naujakiemio street near No. 27, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a BMW 318 and a Chrysler Pacifica. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober.
