On Wednesday, 16 April 2014, in the evening at 17:43, in Šiauliai, on Pramonės street near No. 2, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 530 and an Opel Zafira. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the BMW (11 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He was drunk (2.52‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
