On Sunday, 20 April 2014, in the afternoon at 15:03, in Kretingos district municipality, on the Vėžaičiai–Mikoliškiai–Kartena regional road (kilometre 10.85), a MTZ rolled over. One person was injured — the 19-year-old driver of the MTZ (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the MTZ, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
